Revware Launches New Microscribe Utility Software At Control QA Show

PRESS RELEASE – Upon Announcement of Leading Export Revenues, Revware Launches Newest Software at Trade Show

RALEIGH, N.C., (May 5, 2011) – Revware™ Inc., the leading developer of CAD-driven concept-to-product engineering software and manufacturer of the MicroScribe® portable measurement system, is currently attending the CONTROL Quality Assurance trade show in Stuttgart, Germany, and is proud to announce the debut of MicroScribe Utility Software (MUS) Version 6.0. Coming off last week’s announcement of their widespread international export business, Revware is excited to officially launch its latest software on an international stage. The CONTROL show, celebrating “25 Years of Quality Assurance”, runs May 3 – 6, 2011.  “Our business is supported in large part by international customers, and as an annual attendee at the CONTROL Show, we are excited to introduce our newest MicroScribe Utility Software here in Germany,” said Tom Welsh, President, and CEO of Revware. “As a metrology industry leader, we are committed to continuously offering the most up-to-date and latest measurement software and hardware solutions.”

The new MUS features several significant upgrades and improvements to enhance user interface and allow for a more personalized operation. Now showcasing a more modern look and feel, the software features refreshed images, stylish graphics, a cleaner design, layout, and larger, easier-to-read data. MUS now supports both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Windows 7, Vista, and XP and utilizes a single installation wizard to manage all target systems and software designs with upgraded performance. With improved functionality and more user-moderated preferences, MUS presents the next step in concept-to-product engineering and further strengthens Revware’s product portfolio.

The CONTROL International Trade Fair is the world’s largest show devoted to quality assurance. Industry leaders in technology, products and subsystems, and hardware and software solutions meet to showcase their unique measurement resolutions. Revware is an annual attendee, and this year will be a guest on behalf of Kreon, manufacturer of the Skiron™ Laser scanner, a recently acquired Revware product offering. The CONTROL show is an annual gathering of global companies with last year’s show hosting 837 exhibitors from 28 countries. Revware’s full line-up of products is the top choice for companies across the world for quality inspection, assuring precision measurements in minutes.

The MicroScribe M uses digital optical sensors, which are immune from any environmental noise and interference and offers accuracy to within +/- .002”. Revware’s RevWorks® modeling software works in connection with the MicroScribe to provide a complete reverse engineering solution from each pin-pointed measurement. The Skiron Laser scanner, as attached to the MicroScribe, provides impeccable measurement data collection as it provides a full product image scan to within +/- .002”. With the launch of MUS 6.0, Revware is poised to continue to lead the metrology industry with the preferred product choices for measurement solutions. This new version of MUS represents a foundation for the evolution of the use of MicroScribe digitizers with 64-bit computers.
